ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Earnadette

WHERE I COME FROM
A proud native of Mecklenburg County, I have dedicated my life to education and community service. After graduating from Bluestone Senior High School in 1979, I remained deeply connected to my roots, raising my family here and committing my career to teaching students in the very community that shaped me. As an educator, I have worked to build strong relationships, foster growth, and create supportive learning environments for all students, particularly those needing individualized support. My deep understanding of the local culture and values, paired with decades of lived experience, allows me to connect with students and families in meaningful ways. I believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed and that strong schools are built on trust, equity, and community involvement.
A THRIVING CAREER
I have committed my life to serving the students and families of my community. With over a decade of classroom and school-based experience, I bring both a local perspective and a broad educational foundation to my work in education.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Master of Science in Curriculum, a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration. These degrees reflect a lifelong commitment to understanding how students learn, how to support them emotionally and academically, and how to lead school systems that are equitable, effective, and student-centered.
Throughout my career, I have worked to empower young people by fostering academic growth, supporting social-emotional development, and promoting a sense of belonging and purpose. As a former educator in the same community where I grew up, I value consistency, fairness, and the power of strong relationships to transform lives.
