ABOUT ME
About Dr. Earnadette Powell Farrar
As a proud native of Mecklenburg County and a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School (Class of 1979), I have dedicated my life to uplifting families and strengthening communities across Southside Virginia. My passion for service is rooted in over a decade of hands-on experience in the classroom and at the district level, where I’ve worked to bridge the gap between educational policy and student success.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, two Master’s degrees, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration—all of which have shaped my commitment to building school systems that are equitable, inclusive, and student-centered. My work has always focused on nurturing young people—not just academically, but emotionally and socially—because every child deserves a safe place to grow, learn, and lead.
I’m running for the Virginia House of Delegates to open new doors for our communities—starting with education, opportunity, and representation. This campaign is more than politics—it’s a promise to listen, to serve, and to lead with integrity.
